Educational and Other Qualifications Required for Engagement of Guest Teachers :

For Various Posts of PGT

1. Master's degree in the subject concerned from recognized University or oriental degree in the case of PGT (Sanskriti/Hindi). 
2. Degree/Diploma in training in Education. (B.Ed.) 
3. Minimum six months of experience as Guest Faculty/contract teacher from any Govt. Aided /NDMC /Navyug/ Directorate of Education /MCD/Cantonment board/ Kendriya Vidyalaya (Delhi) as PGT in concerned subject.

For Various Posts of TGT

1. Bachelor's Degree (Pass/Hons.) from a recognized University or equivalent having secured at least 45% marks in aggregate in two school subjects of which at least one out of the following should have been at the elective level :
a) English b) Mathematics c) Natural/Physical Science; Social Science 

Note: As per policy the definition of elective in RRs has been framed as that the candidate should have studied the main subject concerned as mentioned in the RRs of at least 100 marks each in all parts/years of graduation. The elective word may also include the main subject as practiced in different universities. (Circulated vide F.DE .3(42) lE-llll99/1688- 1699 dated 13.03 2000)

Note: Main subjects for i) TGT (Natural Science/Physical Science) shall be Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany and Zoology). ii) TGT (Social Science) - History/ Political dc./Economics/Business Studies/ Sociology/ Geography /Psychology.

2. Degree/Diploma in training Education (B.Ed).
3. Working knowledge of Hindi at least up to Secondary Level or equivalent.
4.Minimum Six months of experience as Guest Faculty/contract teacher from any Govt' Aided /NDMC /Navyug /Directorate of Education/MCD/Cantonment board/Kendriya Vidyalaya (Delhi) as TGT (Various subjects).

For Assistant Teacher (Primary)

1. Senior Secondary (10+2) or intermediate with 50% marks from a recognized Board. 
2. Two years Diploma/Certificate Course in ETE/JBT or Bl.Ed from a recognized institution. 
3. Must have passed Hindi as a subject at Secondary Level. 
4. Minimum six months of experience as Guest Faculty/contract teacher from any Govt. Aided /NDMC/Navyug/ Directorate of Education /MCD/Cantonment board/ Kendriya Vidyalaya (Delhi) as Assistant/Primary Teacher.

For Assistant Teacher (Urdu)

1. Senior Secondary (10+2) or intermediate with 50% marks from a recognized Board. 
2. Two years Diploma/Certificate Course in ETE/JBT or Bl.Ed from a recognized institution. 
3. Must have passed Urdu as a subject at Secondary Level. 
4. Minimum six months of experience as Guest Faculty/contract teacher from any Govt. Aided /NDMC/Navyug/ Directorate of Education /MCD/Cantonment board/ Kendriya Vidyalaya (Delhi) as Assistant/Primary Teacher (Urdu)

For Assistant Teacher (Physical Education)

1. Graduate in Physical Education or B.P.Ed. with 55% marks OR B.P.Ed. awarded by a Recognized University/lnstitution after training of minimum one academic session provided that the admission qualification for Diploma is atleast a University Degree with 55% marks OR Bachelor of Sports, Humanities and Physical Education of Haryana Agriculture University, Hissar with 55% marks.
2. Minimum six months of experience as Guest Faculty/contract teacher from any Govt. Aided /NDMC /Navyug/ Directorate of Education /MCD/Cantonment board/ Kendriya Vidyalaya (Delhi) as Assistant/Primary Teacher. 

For Assistant Teacher (Music)

1. High second class Bachelor Degree with not less than 55% marks in/with Music from a recognised university OR Higher Secondary/Sr. Secondary with a recognised 4 year Diploma in Music from a recognised institute having not less than 55% marks. 
2. Minimum six months of experience as Guest Faculty/contract teacher from any Govt. Aided /NDMC /Navyug/ Directorate of Education /MCD/Cantonment board/ Kendriya Vidyalaya (Delhi) as Assistant/Primary Teacher.

For Assistant Teacher (Art)

1. High second class graduate (55%) marks with Drawing & Painting/Art/Fine Art along with 2 years Full Time Diploma from a recognized institutions. 
2. Minimum six months of experience as Guest Faculty/contract teacher from any Govt. Aided /NDMC /Navyug/ Directorate of Education /MCD/Cantonment board/ Kendriya Vidyalaya (Delhi) as Assistant/Primary Teacher.

For Nursery Teacher

1. Senior Secondary and Nursery Teacher Training from the Recognized institute/Board. 
2. Minimum six months of experience as Guest Faculty/contract teacher from any Govt. Aided /NDMC /Navyug/ Directorate of Education /MCD/Cantonment board/ Kendriya Vidyalaya (Delhi) as Assistant/Primary Teacher.

Note: The experience certificate must be countersigned by the concerned District/Departmental Education Officer

Selection process

The candidates short-listed on the basis of their applications will be called for interview; thereafter the final decision will be made. At the time of the interview, the candidates are required to bring along the original as well as attested documents and passport size photographs.
