Haryana SSC JBT Syllabus 2020 Recruitment Exam Pattern


Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is going to advertise various posts of PRT for 2020.

The written exam scheme for the post of PRT will be uploaded on the official website of HSSC i.e. www.hssc.gov.in or www.recruitment-portal.in.

HSSC PRT Exam Scheme / Pattern 2020


HSSC will conduct a written exam for the post of PRT for 2020. The written exam will be of Objective type which will consist of 90 objective type multiple-choice questions. Each question will carry 1 mark. So, there may be 90 Marks for the HSSC PRT Written Exam 2020. Admit cards for HSSC PRT Written Exam will be issued for eligible candidates. Note: The above Exam Scheme of HSSC PRT is as per the latest exam pattern. The official syllabus notice for the post of PRT will be released by HSSC. So, candidates are advised to study as per the new exam scheme/pattern of HSSC PRT Exam 2020.

HSSC PRT Selection Criteria 2020


HSSC PRT recruitment will be made on the basis of total marks obtained in Written Exam, Experience and Viva-voce.

HSSC PRT Merit List / Final Selection Criteria

The final selection for the post of PRT will be as per the selection criteria adopted by HSSC for the post of PRT. The total marks obtained in the written test, Experience and viva-voce will determine the merit of the candidates in their respective categories.

Here is the selection criteria for the post of PRT -

The scheme of marks in respect of selection to the posts shall comprise of total 100 marks, as detailed below:
  • Total Marks: 100 Marks
  • Written Exam: 90 Marks
  • Socio-economics Criteria & Experience: 10 Marks

The 90 marks of written examination shall be divided into to parts comprising:- a) 75% weightage for General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, Computer, English, Hindi and concerned or relevant subject, as applicable. b) 25% weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. of Haryana.

The 10 marks for socio-economic criteria and experience shall be allocated as follows :

a. If neither the applicant nor any person from among the applicant's family viz father, mother, spouse, brother, and Son is, was or has been a regular employee in any Department/Board/Corporation/Company/Statutory Body/Commission/Authority of Government of Haryana or any other State Government or Government of India. (5 marks)

b. If the applicant is:-
(i) a widow; or
(ii) the first or the second child and his father had died before attaining the age of 42 years: or
(iii) the first or the second child and his father had died before the applicant had attained the age of 15 years,". (5 marks)

c. If the applicant belongs to such a denotified tribe (Vimukt Jatis and Tapriwas Jatis) or Nomadic tribe of the State of Haryana which is neither a Scheduled Caste nor a Backward Class. (5 marks)

d. Experience (A maximum of 8 Marks)

HSSC PRT Experience Marks

A total of 05 marks may be fixed for Experience for the recruitment of PRT. The candidates who are teaching in Govt. schools / private schools or govt. aided schools in the capacity of PRT will be given Experience Marks as per the following scheme :

One-half (=0.5) mark for each year or part thereof exceeding six months of experience, out of a maximum of sixteen years, on the same or a higher post in any Department/Board/Corporation/Company/Statutory Body/Commission/Authority of Government of Haryana. No marks shall be awarded for any period less than six months.

Note: No applicant shall be given more than 10 marks for socio-economic criteria and experience under any circumstances.
