NTA invited online applications for Joint CSIR-UGC Test June 2022 for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship. CSIR will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC Test June 2022 on 16, 17 & 18 September 2022 as per the revised schedule. CSIR-UGC NET June 2022: Subjects of the Test (June 2022)

The Test will be held in the subjects as given below:

Chemical Sciences
Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences
Life Sciences
Mathematical Sciences
Physical Sciences

Note: Engineering Sciences has been discontinued from December 2016 NET

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who fulfill the criteria laid down by UGC are eligible to apply for CSIR-UGC NET June 2022 exam scheduled to be held in 2022.
Ph.D. degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991, with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for Lectureship only.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess M. Sc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for General & OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST/PHC candidates.
Candidates should possess BSc (Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with at least 55% marks.

Age limit

For JRF (NET): Maximum 28 years as on 01-01-2022
For LS (NET): No upper age limit.

Note: The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/ Physically handicapped/Visually handicapped and female applicants).

Candidates who are going to participate in CSIR UGC Exam June 2022 can see/download the Syllabus & Scheme of Exam of single MCQ Paper at CSIR website i.e. www.csirnet.nta.nic.in. Here is the detail also as under :

CSIR-UGC NET Exam Scheme June 2022
The single paper MCQ based test will be held tentatively as per new schedule in 2022 as under:

Morning Session: 9.30 AM-12.30 Noon 3 hrs
Afternoon Session: 2.30 PM-5.30 PM 3 hrs

Note: The actual number of questions in each part and section to be asked & attempted may vary from subject to subject.

CSIR-UGC NET 2022 Syllabus
The question paper shall be divided into three parts, (A, B & C) as per syllabus & Scheme of Exam.

Part 'A' shall be common to all subjects. This part shall contain questions pertaining to General Aptitude with emphasis on logical reasoning, graphical analysis, analytical and numerical ability, quantitative comparison, series formation, puzzles, etc.
Part 'B' shall contain subject-related conventional Multiple Choice questions (MCQs), generally covering the topics given in the syllabus.
Part 'C' shall contain higher value questions that may test the candidate's knowledge of scientific concepts and/or application of the scientific concepts. The questions shall be of analytical nature where a candidate is expected to apply the scientific knowledge to arrive at the solution to the given scientific problem

Note :

Negative marking for wrong answers, wherever required, shall be applicable as per subject wise scheme of Exam.
If a question for any reason found wrong, the benefit of marks will be given to only those candidates who attempt the question.

Candidates may deposit their Examination Fee in any branch of the Indian Bank throughout the country in cash. Srinagar and Imphal candidates may deposit their fees through RTGS or NEFT by giving particulars of the Indian Bank, as notified in the fee deposit challan.

Candidates may apply Online through the official website of NTA i.e. www.csirnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates are required to take the print out of the Application Form and send the application form duly filled along with NTA marked copy of fee deposited Bank Challan in an envelope superscribed with Subject Code, Centre Code & Medium Code so as to reach as per the schedule to the following address :
