KVS Answer Key of Primary Teacher & PRT (Music) 2016-17 - Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) conducted written test for the post of PRT & PRT Music on 07.01.2017 & 17.12.2016 respectively. PRT and PRT Music Result & Official answer key have been uploaded on the official website of KVS i.e. www.kvsangathan.nic.in.

Earlier, KVS canceled PRT & PRT Music Written Exam 2014-15 & 2015-16 held on 04.10.2015 due to due to leakage of Question Paper. New online application and exam dates of written test for the posts of PRT & PRT (Music) were announced by KVS on the official website. KVS PRT & PRT Music Recruitment 2016-17

KVS invited online applications for recruitment to 2281 posts of Primary Teacher (PRT) & PRT (Music) by direct recruitment for the year 2016-17. Eligible candidates could apply online through the KVS website www.kvsangathan.nic.in or https://jobapply.in/kvs/ at the link available on the site.

Educational Qualification

PRT

Senior Secondary Certificate or 10+2 with atleast 50% marks in aggregate.
Two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) or Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
Pass in the CTET (Papaer-I) for PRT.
Competence in teaching in English and Hindi Media.
Desirable : Knowledge as Computer Applications.
Note : CTET is not required for PRT (Music).

Examination Scheme

The scheme of examination for PRT is as under :

The Final Merit will be based on the combined performance in the written test and interview.
The weightage of Written Test (Part-II) and Interview will be 70:30.
For PRT (Music) the weightage shall be Written Test (Part-II) 50%, Performance Test 30% and Interview 20%.
