HSSC 816 Art and Craft Teacher Cat. No. 22 & Advt. No. 6/2006.
(Last Updated: 31.01.2021). HSSC conducted a re-exam on 31.01.2021 for Art and Crafts Teacher Advt. No. 06/2006. The Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh had directed HSSC to conduct 816 Art & Craft Teacher Re-exam 2021 for all those teachers who were working in Govt. Schools as Art and Craft Teacher and whose appointment was canceled by the Court on 20.02.2015. These teachers were appointed by the previous Congress government led by Bhupinder Singh Hooda in 2006. The court has directed HSSC (Haryana Staff Selection Commission) to make fresh selection in five months.
HSSC conducted a written test on 29.11.2015 for a fresh selection of 816 Drawing Teacher. But some candidates reached the court due to the pattern of question paper of the written test which was only in English language. The Honorable Court then directed HSSC to conduct the screening test in both medium - English and Hindi. HSSC conducted the Re-exam of Art & Craft Teacher against cat. no. 22 & Advt. No. 6/2006 on 31.01.2021. The screening test was earlier scheduled to be held on 30.04.2017. Now the next proceeding of the recruitment will depend on the next hearing in October 2017.

Giving a big relief to the working Art and Craft Teachers, the Court stayed Art and Craft Teacher Re-exam 2017 to be conducted by HSSC on 30.04.2017. There is no written test till the next hearing of the court case in the matter of 816 Art and Craft Teacher against advt. no. 6/2006. The petitioner alleged Hooda government of favoritism. In 25 petitions, it is said that applications for these 816 posts of Art and Craft Teacher were invited on 20 July 2006. Written examination had to be conducted and 25 marks were fixed for interview. Candidates had to be appointed on the basis of merit list to be based on the marks of both written test and interview. But these rules were modified regularly to benefit the favourite candidates. In petition, it is said that according to Supreme Court's orders, Selection Process can't be changed during the Recruitment Process.

HSSC Art and Craft Teacher Re-exam 31.01.2021
Reference Haryana Staff Selection Commission written examination notice dated 20.10.2015 for the post of Art & Craft Teacher against Advt. No. 6/2006, Category No. 22 which was held/issued on 29.11.2015 in compliance of orders dated 20.02.2015 passed by the Hon'ble High Court in CWP No. 18482 of 2010 and thereafter re-examination notice dated 11.04.2017 (Which could not be held).And whereas Division Bench of Hon'ble Punjab & Haryana, High Court vide order dated 10.11.2020 dismissed LPA No. 359 of 2015 (O & M) titled as Vinod Kumar & Others V/S State of Haryana &Others and directed that the judgment rendered by Supreme Court in Ramjit Singh Kardam's case (PTI Case) would certainly apply in the present case as well and now the SLP filed against the said judgment has also been dismissed. Now, therefore, it is notified for the information of all concerned who had earlier applied for the post of Art & Crafts Teachers against Advt. No. 6/2006, Cat. No. 22, that the Haryana Staff Selection Commission will conduct examination for 816 posts of Art & Craft Teacher advertised vide Advt. no. 6/2006, Cat. No. 22 on dated 31.01.2021 (Sunday) from 10:30 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. as per the schedule.
