Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (KUK), Haryana has invited application forms for Ph.D. course 2014 for various subjects/faculties. Eligible candidates can submit application forms to the Directors/Chairpersons of the Institutes/University Teaching Departments at University Campus latest by 20.10.2014. Ph.D. Ordinance, Application Form with other details, Fee structure, list of allied subjects and seats available in each subject has been placed at University website www.kuk.ac.in. Fee Structure for the Ph.D. course 2014-15 (except for Pharmacy)

i) Enrolment Fee  (To be given at the time of Admission)	Rs. 1000/-
ii) Migration Fee (If already not registered) (To be given at the time of Admission)	Rs. 1000/-
iii) Fees for Course Work  (To be given before the date of the commencement of the Course Work.  A sum of Rs. 1000/- shall be charged as late fee for every delay of 15 days).	Rs. 5000/-
iv) (a) Annual Fee for Research Programme for subjects not involving the use of Lab/ Equipment, etc.   iv) (b)  Annual Fee for Research Programme for subjects involving use of Laboratory/ Chemicals/ Computers/ Equipments for Science & Engg. Streams, etc.             (To be given within One Month from the date of the P.G. Board of Studies in which the case is recommended for Ph.D. registration)	Rs. 1500/- Per Annum Rs. 6000/- Per Annum

Note :

i) The above notified seats are subject to varition. There will be no Entrance Test/ admission to  Ph.D. Course in the Department of Commerce, Economics, Punjabi, Philosophy and Tourism ii) Equivalence of subjects may be confirmed from the Chairperson/ Director of the Department/ Institute concernred before purchase/ submission of Application Form iii) The candidates who have qualified their UGC/CSIR-NET JRF are required to be registered for Ph.D. within 2 years from the date of issue of the UGC JRF award letter to be eligible to avail fellowship as per UGC rules. Therefore, the JRF candidates must have at least 1 year time for their Ph.D. Registration at the time of their enrollment to Ph.D. course. Priority shall be given to such candidates. iv)  Kurukshetra Universwity Employees and their wards are exempted from the payment of Entrance Test fee for Ph.D. course The scheme of Entrance Test will be as under: Paper-I  Subject related paper (comprising of 50 objective type questions to be attempted on OMR sheet) Duration                            : One hour Maximum Marks                 : 100 Paper-II Subject related paper (Descriptive) Duration                            : Two Hours Maximum Marks                 : 100
