Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Ph.D. qualification in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality.
• Master’s Degree in the relevant subject or discipline from recognized University.
• Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject or discipline from recognized University. 

Age Limit & Relaxation 

Age Limit for the candidate should be below 55 years (for post 1& 4), 45 years or less (for post 2), 37 years or less (for post 3), 30 years (for post 5 & 7) and 35 years (for post 6) as on 01 January 2014 and Age Relaxation for category as per rules.

Pay Scale

• PB – 4 Rs. 37,400-67,000/- plus AGP of Rs. 10,000/- (for post 1& 4) and AGP of Rs. 9,000/- (for post 2).
• PB – 3 Rs. 15,600- 9,100/- plus AGP of Rs. 6,000/- (for post 3 & 5 to 7).

Application Fee

Application Fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST candidates) (for post 1 &4), Rs.400/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ ST candidates) (for post 2) and Rs. 200/- (Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST candidates) (for post 3& 5 to 7)in the form of crossed Demand Draft in favour of the “Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya” Payable at Cooch Behar, West Bengal.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Testand finally the Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
