HPSC's Recruitment of 1396 Asstt. Professor : All Ph.D. Holders Can Apply Online till 16.06.2014

Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has granted the benefit of Rajeev's case (supra) to those candidates who have Ph.D degree on or before 21.02.2014 but have not passed the NET/SLET for the post of Assistant Professor (College Cadre) in response to Advt. No. 7 published on 24.01.2014. Now they can apply online upto 16 June 2014. Earlier HPSC has given the opportunity to only those candidates who were petitioners in CWP No. 2835 and 6929 of 2014 and have Ph.D degree on or before 21.02.2014 but have not passed the NET/SLET for the above said post. These candidates were allowed to submit their applications upto 10-06-2014.
Important Dates
The Hon’ble High Court of Punjab & Haryana, Chandigarh has considered the issue in CWP No. 11894 of 2014 titles as Sumitra Bishnoi & Others V/s State of Haryana & Others and passed the orders which are reproduced as under.
“We are thus of the opinion that it would be in the fairness and fitness of things if all the persons who are having Ph.D. degrees are granted the benefit of Rajeev's case (supra) provided they make an application positively within one week from today. It is made clear that no further application for extension of time shall be entertained and if any other person who is similarly situated, fails to apply within the time stipulated by the order of this Court, no further application or petition shall be entertained. The H.P.S.C. shall positively initiate the process of selection after a lapse of seven days from today as directed with a clear mandate that no further application of similar kind shall be entertained.”
That all the persons who are having Ph.D degree are granted the benefit of CWP No. 2386 of 2014 titled as Rajiv & Others V/s State of Haryana & Others. In compliance with the orders dated 09.06.2014 in CWP No. 11894 of 2014 titled as Sumitra Bishnoi & Others V/s State of Haryana & Others. HPSC invites applications from the candidates who are having Ph.D. degree on or before
21.02.2014 can apply for the post of Assistant Professor (College Cadre) in various subjects.
The online application can be filled up from 10.06.2014 at 9:00 to 16.06.2014 upto 5:00 PM after which the link will be disabled. Fees can be deposited in the State Bank of Patiala after 48 hours of generating the Treasury Challan Form. The fees can be deposited upto 19.06.2014. The candidates are strictly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for last date of submission of online application. No offline application form will be accepted by the office. The eligibility of the candidates with regards to qualification will be determined on 21.02.2014 and the age will be determined as on 15.01.2014 and other conditions will remain unchanged.
